The Consult Group, It's A Long Story
So here is the short version! We’re an FMCG consultancy business based in Australia. We help brands and manufacturers take their business to the next level by harnessing over 30 years of experience in FMCG distribution and sales. We’ve been tried and tested – our approach is proven. We’re here for the long haul and ready to partner with you too.
1979
Registered in 1979 as “The Achievers” and In 1983 the company became known as Wal Jennings.
1992
The Newberry family purchases the company in late 1992, and it becomes Access Distributors, delivering direct to store orders.
1994
Moving with the changing times the business evolved to head office dealings and removed deliveries.
2014
Access Sales comes under the directorship of the new generation and begins trading as Consult Group in 2015.
2019
We merged entities to become the Consult Group Company – encompassing so much more than just sales.
2021
Ash McMillan joined Consult Group as a Director, and we continue to be a leading FMCG consulting business partnering with the best brands and retailers.
